The best tapas bar in Madrid according to locals

best tapas bars Madrid

Madrid is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the best cities in Spain to go for tapas. Madrid is not only the capital but also one of the most vibrant and friendly cities in Spain where people love to get together around a cold beer, some typical tapas and lots of good vibes… welcome to Madrid! It would be totally inaccurate to come up with a short list of the best tapas bars in Madrid but, hey, I got you reading this post! In Madrid you will find a surprising tapas bar in every corner, from a sophisticated gastrobar to a modest bar serving the best tortilla for over a century! Sydney restaurant in Miami playa: a traditional restaurant with great sea-views

Sydney restaurant Miami

If you are travelling to Miami playa (the one in Spain, Tarragona, not in Florida) you should know about my favorite restaurant. Miami playa is a beautiful Mediterranean long beach resort in the province of Tarragona (in the South of Catalonia). It is a very well-served destination yet it has kept a traditional and charming Spanish style and even though it can get crowded in summer: Miami playa is still a hidden gem worth visiting on your summer holiday. Indeed, Miami, right by the village called Hospitalet de l’Infant, is served by the main Mediterranean highway (Valencia-Barcelona), by a free-way, by a national road, by train and it is also very close from Reus international airport. So even if you are not staying in Miami itself, I would highly recommend you to spend a beach day there followed by some drinks and dinner at my favorite local restaurant: Sydney. Well, this More here

L’Estruch: a great and typical tapas bar by the cathedral of Barcelona

A Spanish Perspective

If you are visiting Barcelona or just heading to the cathedral of Barcelona, one of the most emblematic squares in town, make sure you stop by Estruch for a nice tapa, coffee and so much more! Avoid touristy traps and enjoy proper yummy food! By the way, we are talking about the main cathedral: Catedral de la Santa Creu i de Santa Eulalia. The Estruch exists since the 19th century and it is a café and restaurant located in front of the Cathedral in the Gothic neighborhood: Avenida de la Catedral, 3, 08002 Barcelona. I am from central Barcelona myself so believe me when I say that you are going to have a good time there, I eat in the Estruch regulary and I simply love it.  It is a small but really nice and cosy restaurant where you can have lunch with your friends, partner or family. However, it also More here
